On the 3rd day of the trip, the participants had yet another opportunity to visit the building of the Polish Parliment.
In the course of the tour around the Parliment, the participants of the trip were being given information about the location and destiny of each and every building of the Parliment.
What it more, a nutshell of knowledge about the functioning of the Parliment was presented to the participants during a brief lecture about the legislative procedure.
Afterwards, the schedule of the tour led to the Polish Supreme Administrative Court, in which the students learnt more about the court’s cognicia, the scope of cases undertaken by the court and the general principles of the Polish Supreme Administrative Court. The information presented by the assistant judges allowed the students to gain a new perspective on NSA cases, and administrative law itself (which is regarded as tedious, difficult and intricate among law students) showed its more engaging face by observing its application in practice during a court hearing, in which the tour participated as an audience.
Participants also had the opportunity to dress up in judges’ robes and pose for photos in one of the courtrooms of the Supreme Administrative Court….
