Announcement of the event – trip to Seville

❗ Schola Legem together with the UEK International Programs Office (BPZ UEK) and the UEK Law Institute in cooperation with the Univerisidad Pablo de Olavide in Seville is organizing a trip for students – Erasmus+ Blended Short – Term Study Mobility – to Seville, Spain.

? The program includes a stay in Seville at the UPO campus and field classes from May 12-18, 2024 and remote classes from May 20 – June 9, 2024.

? Each qualified student can count on an Erasmus+ subsidy of about 490 euros (70 euros per day for 5 days of the program, plus up to two days for travel).

? For the entire program the student will receive 5 pts. ECTS.

? Each student is responsible for arranging his/her own transportation to the site and accommodation in Seville.

? The main topic of the course is: “From Ius commune europeum to the private law of European countries: real estate law – a comparative approach in Poland and Spain on these European solutions: genesis, civil rights (property law) and taxation”.

? Recruitment criteria:

  • The prerequisite for participation is knowledge of English (or Spanish – one of the two) to a communicative degree
  • Recruitment is open to all UEK students regardless of the type of study (full-time/ part-time)
  • In case of applications more than the number of available places (about 20), a list will be arranged taking into account the following criteria:
o Priority is given to those actively involved in the activities of scientific circles
o Preference will be given to students majoring in Law
o Preference will be given to students who speak both Spanish and English at the same time
o Preference will be given to those studying in the lower years of their studies and undergraduate studies because the goal is further cooperation with Spain and the possible participation of the participant in the regular exchange program in the Erasmus+ program.

Those who meet all of the above criteria (except for criterion 3.4.) will be qualified first. Then those who meet two of the three criteria and further down the list will include the arrangement according to the rules: the direction of Law plus participation in study circles, then the direction of Law or participation in the activity of study circles plus languages, then according to the year of study regardless of the direction.

? Deadline to apply for the trip: April 8, 2024.

? In order to sign up for the trip, you need to write an email to Dr. Wladyslaw Pęksa – the coordinator of the offer – and ask for an application form, which you then need to fill out and send to the coordinator.

? For more information, I refer you to the main post made public on FB of the International Programs Office/Institute of Law, and if you have any questions, I encourage you to contact the coordinator of the offer and the President of the Scientific Circle “Schola Legem” – Krzysztof Zbigniew Zieliński.
